2. Facial Photographs

Facial photographs you select are used for the purpose of performing the facial analysis you request and displaying your results.

Ascend does not use uploaded facial photographs for advertising or unrelated marketing purposes.

We will not use your uploaded facial photographs to train separate artificial intelligence models without first providing appropriate notice and obtaining any consent required by applicable law.

3. Facial Analysis Information

Ascend may calculate facial landmarks, measurements, ratios, scores, and other geometric information in order to provide the analysis requested by you.

Ascend is not designed to identify your real-world identity from your face, authenticate your identity through facial recognition, or compare your face against a database of identified individuals.

Ascend uses Clerk to provide account authentication and account-management functionality.

Payment and subscription functionality may be provided by Stripe.

Ascend does not need to directly store your full payment card details. Payment providers process payment information according to their own privacy policies and security requirements.

7. Sharing

We do not sell your uploaded facial photographs.

Information may be disclosed to service providers where reasonably necessary to operate Ascend, provide authentication, process payments, maintain security, comply with legal requirements, or protect our rights and users.

Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, to operate Ascend, and to comply with legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution requirements.

Where information is stored locally in your browser, you may also be able to remove it by clearing the website's local browser data.

However, no electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
